ACC-2010 asks accounting students to move from recording transactions to defending how they are measured and reported. The samples here answer its written assignments as complete worked solutions for one composite company, every entry and schedule shown the way the course requires.

Send the exact assignment or rubric from your classroom and a custom sample written to it lands in 24 to 48 hours, the first one free. ACC-2010 is TESU’s Intermediate Accounting I course. It opens the two-course intermediate sequence, moving from the conceptual framework and the accounting cycle through the balance sheet, income statement and cash flows to receivables, inventories and property, plant and equipment. What ACC-2010 is really about

The course uses Spiceland, Nelson and Thomas’s Intermediate Accounting, along with a real airline’s annual report, and its six modules follow the textbook’s order. Module 1 sets out the conceptual framework and reviews the accounting cycle, Module 2 the balance sheet and its notes, and Module 3 the income statement, comprehensive income, the cash flow statement and revenue recognition. Those three modules carry the midterm. Modules 4 to 6 cover the time value of money with cash and receivables, inventories, and property, plant and equipment with intangible assets, which carry the final.

Most of the graded work is problem solving. Each module’s written assignment is a set of end-of-chapter exercises and problems, identified by chapter and number and solved in full, and the six discussion forums ask students to connect the concepts to what companies actually report. Because the same skills return on the proctored exams, the written assignments double as exam preparation, and the mentor’s corrections are worth reworking before each exam.

What ACC-2010’s assessments ask for

Six written assignments count 33 percent of the grade: five share 30 percent and Written Assignment 2, on the balance sheet, counts 3 percent alone. Six discussion forums, an ungraded introductions forum and proctored midterm and final exams make up the rest. Expect journal entries, adjusting and closing entries, classified statements, present value calculations, bank reconciliations, receivable estimates, inventory cost flows and depreciation schedules, each with the work shown.

Where students lose points in ACC-2010

Points slip away on small mechanics: interest computed for a full year instead of the months outstanding, working capital changes added when they should be subtracted, an annuity due solved as an ordinary annuity, or bad debt expense set equal to the required allowance without adjusting for the existing balance. The syllabus says full credit needs complete work, so a right answer with no visible steps can still lose marks, and a wrong answer with clear steps can still earn partial credit.

Send the exercise and problem numbers your mentor assigned, and a first custom sample comes back free inside 24-48h. Read it for the layout as much as the answers: facts, schedule, arithmetic, then a sentence on what the number means. Then work your own problems the same way and compare.

How these samples are written
